- Dim: obscuro, sem brilho, daí vem o dimmer: aquele dispositivo para diminuir a claridade da lâmpada.
- Live it up: vivendo a vida boa, gastando dinheiro por conta.
- Device: a) uma invenção, traquitana, que serve a um propósito específico.
b) um plano, ou esquema, geralmente algo malígno.
- Tiffany twisted: obcecada pelas jóias da joalheria Tiffany, ou pelas luminárias do “estilo Tiffanyâ€.
- Colitas: marijuana, o cigarro de maconha, se refere ao cheiro característico da “erva†queimando.

- Ali funciona a “The Satan Church†muito comum nas décadas de 60 e 70;
- É um hospital psiquiátrico;
- É um bordel;
- É um hotel, mas foi construído sobre um cemitério;
- É uma clínica de reabilitação;
- É o relato de uma “viagemâ€.
